Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 03 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.1daycruise.gr and all bookings made through our website or directly with UNIQUE DESTINATION TRAVEL ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. (a Greek Single-Member Private Company incorporated under the laws of Greece) (“the Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

By accessing our website, making a reservation or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not proceed with a booking or use our services.

About Us

UNIQUE DESTINATION TRAVEL ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. is a Greek travel company specialising in organised day cruises, sightseeing experiences and related tourism services.

We cooperate with carefully selected cruise operators and service providers in order to offer high-quality travel experiences while maintaining professional customer service before, during and after every booking.

Scope of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to every reservation made through our website, by email, by telephone or through any other booking channel operated or authorised by the Company.

Certain cruises, promotional offers or third-party services may include additional conditions. Where applicable, such conditions will be communicated before the booking is completed.

Eligibility to Make a Booking

The person making the reservation confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

The Customer making the reservation accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all passengers included in the booking and is responsible for ensuring that all passengers receive any important information provided by the Company.

Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability.

A reservation is considered confirmed only after successful payment and the issue of a Booking Confirmation by the Company.

Submitting a booking request or adding services to the shopping cart does not reserve availability until payment has been successfully completed.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during the booking process, including passenger names, contact details and, where applicable, accommodation information for transfer services.

We are not responsible for delays, booking errors or operational issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Customer.

Booking Confirmation

Once a booking has been successfully completed, a Booking Confirmation will normally be sent automatically to the email address provided during the reservation process.

Customers should carefully review the Booking Confirmation immediately upon receipt and notify us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect or incomplete.

If you do not receive your Booking Confirmation within a reasonable period after payment, please contact us immediately.

The Booking Confirmation forms part of the agreement between the Customer and the Company together with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Prices

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Euro (€).

Unless otherwise stated, prices include all applicable taxes.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking has been confirmed.

Prices may vary depending on travel dates, availability, seasonal demand, promotional campaigns or operational requirements.

Once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed price will not be affected by subsequent price changes.

Payments

Payments may be completed using one of the payment methods available on our website at the time of booking.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Piraeus Bank Secure Payment Gateway
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Online card payments are processed through secure payment systems operated by the selected payment provider.

For security reasons, the Company does not collect or store customers’ full payment card details.

Where required, customers are redirected to the secure payment environment of the selected payment provider in order to complete their transaction.

Changes Requested by the Customer

Customers may request changes to their booking by contacting the Company as early as possible.

All requested changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Depending on the nature of the requested change, additional charges or price differences may apply.

The Company will always inform the Customer of any additional costs before proceeding with the requested modification.

Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email and confirmed by Hop In Sightseeing at [email protected]

  • 10 days or more before departure: Full refund
  • 5–9 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 0–4 days before departure or No Show: No refund

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.
Please note that in all refund cases, a 15.00€ bank transaction processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Change of booked departure date: Must be submitted in writing to [email protected] at least 2 days before the scheduled departure date. A 35.00€ administration fee per booking applies to all booking changes.
All changes are subject to availability.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as soon as reasonably possible.

The time required for the funds to appear in the Customer’s account depends on the payment provider or financial institution and is outside the Company’s control.

Any non-refundable banking charges, payment gateway fees or third-party transaction costs may be deducted where permitted and previously disclosed.

No Show

Passengers are responsible for arriving at the designated departure point or confirmed pickup location at the specified time.

Passengers who fail to arrive on time, miss their scheduled pickup or fail to board the vessel due to reasons within their control will be considered a No Show.

In such cases, the booking will be considered fully used and no refund, credit or alternative travel date will be provided.

The Company strongly recommends allowing sufficient travel time to the pickup point or departure port, particularly during periods of heavy traffic or adverse weather conditions.

Cancellation by the Company

In certain circumstances, the Company or the operating cruise provider may be required to cancel a scheduled cruise.

This may occur due to adverse weather conditions, port authority restrictions, operational requirements, safety considerations, supplier decisions or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where a cruise is cancelled by the Company or the operating provider before departure, customers will normally be offered one of the following options:

  • A full refund of the amount paid.
  • An alternative travel date, subject to availability.

The choice between the available options remains with the Customer unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Service Disruptions Beyond Our Control

The Company shall not be liable for delays, modifications or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions.
  • Orders issued by port authorities or other competent authorities.
  • Strikes or industrial action.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Public health emergencies.
  • Security incidents.
  • Unexpected technical or operational issues affecting the safe operation of the cruise.

Where possible, the Company will make reasonable efforts to inform customers promptly and provide the most appropriate available solution.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete.

Passengers are also responsible for arriving at the confirmed pickup location or departure point at the specified time, carrying any required travel documents and following all instructions provided by the Company, the operating cruise provider and the vessel’s crew.

The Company shall not be responsible for any inconvenience, delay or additional costs resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the Customer or from a Passenger’s failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Boarding Procedures

Passengers must present themselves at the confirmed pickup location or departure point at the time stated in their Booking Confirmation or in any subsequent communication sent by the Company.

For operational and safety reasons, boarding closes shortly before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers arriving after boarding has closed or after the vessel has departed will be considered a No Show and will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.

The Company reserves the right to refuse boarding where required for safety, legal or operational reasons.

Hotel Pick-up & Transfer Services

Where transfer services are included or selected during the booking process, passengers will receive their pickup information by email before the date of travel.

Pickup services are available only within the designated service area published by the Company.

Accommodation located outside the standard pickup zone may be subject to an additional transfer charge.

Any additional charge will always be communicated to the Customer before the booking is confirmed.

Where pickup from a specific address is not possible, the Company will provide the nearest available pickup location.

Passengers are responsible for being present at the confirmed pickup point at the scheduled time.

Cruise Itinerary

The published itinerary, ports of call, sailing schedule and estimated timings are provided for guidance and may be modified where necessary.

The operating cruise provider may adjust the itinerary, departure or arrival times, the order of island visits or onboard services whenever required for safety, operational or regulatory reasons.

Such changes do not automatically entitle passengers to compensation or a refund where the cruise itself is able to operate.

Safety On Board

Passengers must comply with all safety announcements, crew instructions and onboard regulations throughout the cruise.

Any behaviour that may endanger other passengers, crew members or the safe operation of the vessel may result in appropriate action being taken by the operating cruise provider.

The Company shall not be liable for any consequences arising from a passenger’s failure to comply with safety instructions.

Children & Minors

Passengers under the age of 18 must travel with a parent, legal guardian or another responsible adult authorised to accompany them.

The accompanying adult remains fully responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of the minor throughout the cruise.

Passengers with Reduced Mobility

Passengers with reduced mobility, disabilities or medical conditions requiring special assistance are encouraged to inform the Company before completing their booking.

This allows us to assess whether the requested services can be provided safely and appropriately.

Please note that certain ports, gangways, islands or areas of the vessel may not be fully accessible due to local infrastructure or operational limitations.

Passengers requiring personal assistance must travel with a companion capable of providing the necessary assistance throughout the entire journey.

Assistance Dogs

Pets are not permitted on our cruises.

Certified assistance or service dogs are welcome, provided that the passenger carries any documentation required under applicable legislation.

Customer Communications

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and telephone number during the booking process.

The Company uses these contact details to send Booking Confirmations, pickup instructions, operational updates and any important information relating to the booked service.

Where additional information is required from the Customer, the Company may contact the Customer by email or telephone.

Customers are responsible for checking their email, including spam or junk folders, and for responding promptly where confirmation or additional information has been requested.

The Company shall not be responsible for any inconvenience resulting from incorrect contact information supplied by the Customer or from the Customer’s failure to read or respond to communications sent by the Company.

Complaints and Customer Service

We are committed to providing every customer with a high standard of service.

If you experience any issue during your cruise or believe that any part of the booked service has not been provided as expected, we encourage you to inform the Company’s representatives or the operating cruise provider as soon as reasonably possible.

Prompt notification allows us the opportunity to investigate the matter and, where appropriate, resolve the issue during or shortly after the cruise.

If a complaint cannot be resolved immediately, customers may submit their complaint in writing by email, including all relevant information and supporting documentation where available.

The Company will review every complaint carefully and will respond within a reasonable period of time.

Limitation of Liability

The Company acts as a travel intermediary and organiser for the services described on this website and works with carefully selected third-party service providers.

The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, personal injury or additional expense arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of third-party service providers, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory rights that customers are entitled to under applicable legislation.

Privacy and Personal Data

The Company processes personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Greek data protection legislation.

Personal information is collected only where necessary to process bookings, provide customer support, arrange travel services, comply with legal obligations and improve our services.

Further information regarding the collection and processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions or the services provided by the Company shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece, unless otherwise provided by mandatory applicable law.
