Agistri Island

Agistri is a small Greek island located in the Saronic Gulf, approximately 55 km (34 miles) southwest of Athens and just a short distance from Aegina. Covering an area of about 13 square kilometres, it is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the region.

The island is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, pine forests, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful beaches. Unlike the larger and busier islands, Agistri offers a relaxed environment, making it an ideal destination for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying nature.

This is not a slow beach day, so it helps to know that before booking. There are several parts to the itinerary and the day stays active. We personally enjoyed that variety, although by evening we were tired. The crew kept everything moving well and the Metopi swim gave us a proper break in the middle.
