Enjoyed the whole day. Great way to see the Greek Islands, coupled with a fantastic buffet lunch.
4 out of 5 stars. Cruise is OK. It is not over crowded as others wrote, simply
Everybody wants to sit outside, but there is not place for everyone. Lunch is great,
Simple home food - chicken, fish, rise, salad.
2 cons - 1st loading and unloading of passengers take A LOT of time ( on each isladn)
2nd- there is no point to stop at Poros (2nd island) as you will have max 50 min time to visit it
Well organised from start to finish with a family atmosphere. My favourite island was Hydra with no cars it's a delight to visit. On Aegina you can pay extra for an optional tour.Only 3 people chose to visit the temple so instead of cancelling we had a taxi & tour guide (a tight squeeze but a very personal touch) to ourselves.
The cruise is nice but I wish we had the biggest stop at Aegina island since its the most beautiful out of the 3 islands
Walking through the town of Poros there is a picturesque yet stately monument to those who died in a series wars Greece fought between 1912 and 1922; the two Balkan Wars, The First World War and the Greco-Turkish war. Set in Heroes Square on the waterfront in Poros Town.
I don't know were to start... We booked the 1day cruise via the website which was the easiest thing! The pick up was on time and the surprises started as we reached the cruise ship!!!
There was music and the most warm welcome. The guides on board are so helpful and answer all your questions.
As we reached Hydra we were surprised to see that there is an island with no cars!! never imagined a place like this could exist. We went on a donkey ride and strolled around the Venetian wall at the port.
The journey continued to Poros, the smallest of the three islands nevertheless equally beautiful, especially the lemon tree forest.
Back to the cruise ship and on to Aegina, the biggest of these islands. There we decided to go on a tour suggested by the escorts. We highly recommend it as it is the easiest way to go around the island and see the most you can.
On our way back the party got even more exciting as the music and the professional dancers took the rings!!!
Thank you all for giving us a day we will never forget.
